The Bio-D products are the epitome of BIODIVERSITY. The microbial flora in each of the Bio-D products come from nature. We grow what nature wants us to grow……what nature wants to use. Every aspect of a plant’s life requires microbial interactions. It takes thousands, if not millions, of different strains of microbes to perform all of the tasks that nature wants to occur in soils and in plants. We call that biological diversity (aka biodiversity).
Each of the Bio-D products contains massively diverse populations of microorganisms tailored to the type of application. We don’t focus on growing particular strains for our Bio-D products. Instead, we focus on growing particular groups of microorganisms. The reality is that it is a dog eat dog (or in this case microbe eat microbe) world in our soils. Microbes that aren’t comfortable in certain mediums become food sources for those that do. Applying single strains has a positive effect only part of the time due to this very occurrence. Our approach of growing beneficial groups ensures that some of the strains survive, grow, and show a legitimate benefit every time.
Furthermore, we have developed a proprietary process for drying the microbes into a soluble powder. Instead of stunning the microbes, like most all products on the market, our method puts the microbes in a true suspended animation mode. Our process effectively allows the microbes to be 100% viable within seconds of being reanimated with water. That immediate activity makes a huge difference in virtually all of the types of applications, whether it is a foliar feed application, seed inoculation, or breaking down dead plant material.
